Rwanda has emerged this year’s main recipient of the Commonwealth Education Good Practices Awards, The New Times has learned. The country won recognition from the 54-nation community, which it joined barely three years ago, largely due to its success in fast-tracking access to universal education, according to a senior official. Malaysia and Uganda are first and second runners up, respectively.
